Not since the plaid-dressed notes of grunge wiped the mascara off the 80s sleaze rock scene has the demise of something neon been mourned so much but all good things must come to an end and the neon R.O.U.X shopfront at The Chateau on Newburgh Street is no more! We look back and celebrate it's eye watering genius...

Stitch Up at Old Billingsgate

The Stitch menswear tradeshow has always been a Roux favourite and this year was no different as everyone at The Chateau took a few days away from Soho as we hung out with a range of new and established brands in Old Billingsgate Market.

Eliza Doolittle in Roux

Roux's fair lady of pop-folk Eliza Doolittle popped into the Chateau on Newburgh Street recently to check out our latest garments. As well as taking the time to catch up with us at all at the shop, Eliza walked away with a few bits including our grey Denman cardigan as you see the image below.

Example Hits the Road

Friend of Roux and all-round popular muso Example embarked on his mammoth UK tour at the end of April and, although he may be living out of the back of a tour bus, he has plenty of room in his suitcase for a spot of Roux. We caught up the Example and his band on the road where they were all sporting a Roux tee. What a handsome and finely dressed band they are...

As part of their Diana World Tour exhibition, Newburgh Street favourites Lomography asked Chateau Roux to customise a special edition Diana+ camera for their Customised Clones show. Everyone at The Chateau loves the retro Diana camera and the whole crew at Lomography so we happily obliged and created the special edition Roux Glomo.
