Away from The Chateau last night, we were keeping a keen eye on the Mercury Prize ceremony and we were VERY happy to see London rapper and Roux-pal Speech Debelle walk away with coveted album for the year prize!

Speech has been a regular at The Chateau for some time and her album ‘Speech Therapy’ is an amazing debut that lives permanently on the Roux stereo. In a stellar list of nominees, it was always going to be a close contest but she came out number one and everyone at Chateau Roux want to offer a massive congratulations to Speech.
